Raining into Walden

I love going to Walden in the rain

Washing all my worries and concerns away

The frustrations I feel

dealing with doctors and cancer

and fear

I watch as water drops on her face

dissolving my aggravations and irritations

into tears

The deserted beach

and the biting nip of breeze

snatching blood from my hands

and face

To My Readers

Recently I posted my one hundredth blog post. I am not sure I thought I would ever get there, and undoubtedly I would not, except for the continued support of you, my readers.

I thank you with all of my heart, and the heart I have found in Walden, for hanging in there with me while I continue to make this journey across the pond.

Sincerely, Liz
