Circles in the Sand

An elderly man wields a bat made of the trunk of a tree

How out of place it seems…

Baseball where I imagine Chi Gong to be

A while further on as I step the sandy shore I see

Circles printed in sand

The way a labyrinth might be

More what I envisage

On the sacred sand of Walden

if you look closely though the trees, you can make out the circles in the sand :)

I walk the circle of Walden, alone, in order to seek the peace offered up by nature and the woods. I feel fortunate to be able to observe so many different aspects of life’s cycle. So many of the different circles and forms in which we live. I am grateful for the strength to walk, the eyes to learn and the ears to be an opening to my mind.
